Peter Del Toro, Esq.

Chief Legal Advisor

Attorney Peter Del Toro is the founder and managing partner of Del Toro Law. Peter holds a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree (J.D.) from the St. Thomas University School of Law.
Peter is an active member in the community and is a board member of Elev8Hope; a non-profit organization focusing on matters concerning the homeless. Additionally, Peter is the legal counsel for the non-profit organization Midway Immunology and Research Center. Midway Immunology and Research Center is dedicated to improving the treatment options of patients infected with HIV/AIDS by getting hold of novel HIV/AIDS medications in pharmaceutical research.

James A. Cioffi, Esq.

Legal Advisor

James A. Cioffi is one of the most experienced attorneys in South Florida today. In fact, he writes a legal advice column under the name of “The Juris Doctor”.

 

A graduate of Cornell University with a Juris Doctor degree from Western New England School of Law, James is a member of both the Florida Bar and the New Jersey Bar.

 

He has been an integral member of the South Florida community for more than 30 years of local experience and has held offices and membership with many organizations, including The Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Jupiter Tequesta Hobe Sound Association of Realtors, and the Palm Beach Gardens Jaycees. He has devoted countless hours to his church and the local Leukemia and Lymphoma Societies. Jim is also on the Board of Directors for The Area Agency on Aging.

Barry Carothers, Esq.

Barry Carothers has been representing clients since 1990. In 2013, he opened the doors to BC Law to provide quality legal counsel for personal injury claimants in the community. Based in Stuart, Florida, BC Law has been helping accident victims recover physically and financially from the aftermath of traumatic events like car, truck, or motorcycle accidents, catastrophic injury, product malfunctions, unsafe premises, and wrongful deaths.

Is the Managing Partner at Hughes and Barnard Law Firm, PA. P.A. Mr. Hughes represents Plaintiffs only in personal injury, auto-related injury, injuries related to motorcycle, truck or bicycle accidents, wrongful death, products liability and premises liability cases. Mr. Hughes has an extensive background in these types of cases. Mr. Hughes previously worked for, represented and defended numerous insurance companies, prior to devoting his practice to the representation of victims of negligence. Mr. Hughes’ knowledgeable background in the insurance industry provides his clients with a competitive-edge regarding issues surrounding litigation, mediation, jury trial and settlement negotiations. Mr. Hughes brings strong personal integrity and a blue-collar work ethic to the practice of Law.

 

Mr. Hughes graduated from Michigan State University in 1983 and from Nova Southeastern University Law School with High Honors in 1995. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Hughes was an All-Lines insurance adjuster and in claims management. Mr. Hughes has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1995. Mr. Hughes is also admitted in the State of Michigan and the U.S. District Courts, Southern District of Florida. Mr. Hughes is also a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
