THOMAS COBB, 23 year Army Veteran has served in many areas of the military.
He has served as the NCOIC of the 248th Med Det. VSSS providing food safety and veterinary medicine support for global humanitarian, peacekeeping and combat operations. Being deployed twice to Kosovo, Bosnia, Croatia, and Hungary as the NCOIC 248th Med Det. Forward; supported peacekeeping operations following Bosnian War. In Yongsan Korea, he served as Operations NCOIC for 106th Med Det in support of stability operation in South Korea planned, coordinated and tracked all unit training.
Performed duties as Director of Logistics, US Army Warrant Officer Career College. Served as a Training, Advising, and Counseling (TAC) Officer, Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS), the Army’s only Warrant Officer producing school. Responsible for training, mentoring and coaching Warrant Officer Candidates, from 44 specialties, in warrior tasks, leadership skills, and officership.
During his term in the military, he has also been deployed to Uijeonbu, Korea, Okinawa Japan.
Interest include hunting, fishing, investing, politics, college football and physical fitness.
Born and raised in Brevard County, Florida, Katie married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Cobb, almost 25 years ago.
Being a military Army wife for the past 23 years, Katie moved 12 times with her husband while he was on active duty. Having first-hand experience, knowledge of being a military spouse, Katie is passionate and ready to assist other military spouses and their children. Katie also has first-hand experience in receiving the dreaded phone call that her husband was severely injured with a traumatic brain injury. Her experience enables her to reach out and help others within the military family of brothers and sisters.
Katie is a 15 year breast cancer survivor and a proud mother of her son, Andrew, who is serving in the Army.
After getting out of the Navy I relocated to South Florida. I currently live in Tequesta, Florida with my wonderful wife Tina. We have two amazing children that are now grown and making their own way in life.
I grew up in a tough area just outside of Philadelphia, in South Jersey. I went through tough times both growing up and as an adult. The one thing I never did was to reach out to God during those times.
In my early 50’s I knew there was something missing. Once I figured out that it was the absence of God in my life, I began my journey to find out as much as I could about Jesus and the message he came to share with us.
Knowing the enemy that was attacking me for so long and the promises Jesus gave us was the information I needed. Now I know how to be prepared and stay prepared for when the enemy attacks.
I wanted to share what I learned in the hopes to help others. I feel HGY6 is a great place to start for others that are also looking for answers.
