Deb Doherty, CEO, Chair

Having experience for the past 37+ years in Real Estate as a Licensed Mortgage Originator, Escrow Closing Officer in the Title Industry, Legal Assistant with a law firm, I am ecstatic to be a fully engaged Licensed Realtor having my own team, Doherty Team. My team is a group of former veterans, first responders who are now licensed real estate agents with a passion to help fellow brothers and sisters of the military and first responder arena, along with helping all families.

Keith Dean, Executive VP, Member

Keith Dean, Cofounder of DDS4Vets is dedicated to veterans as a “thank you” for those who have given so much in services to their country, as well as the communities in which they live.  “Coach Dean”, as he is known to most, has built a distinguished career in Real Estate as a Realtor®, Coach, Author and now Team Leader of Keller Williams of the Treasure Coast in Stuart.  He achieved his current position after successfully building a team of 50 agents and coaching them into productive careers in only 3 short years.

Professionally, Coach Dean has accumulated nearly 40 years service industries with the majority of experience focused in community banking as an Assistant Vice President and real estate. Personally, much of his life can be defined by the service he has given others day to day, as well as in his missionary work as an ordained minister.

Tom Cobb, Retired Army

23 year Army Veteran has served in many areas of the military.

He has served as the NCOIC of the 248th Med Det. VSSS providing food safety and veterinary medicine support for global humanitarian, peacekeeping, and combat operations. Being deployed twice to Kosovo, Bosnia, Croatia, and Hungary as the NCOIC 248th Med Det. Forward; supported peacekeeping operations following Bosnian War. In Yongsan Korea, he served as Operations NCOIC for 106th Med Det in support of stable operation in South Korea planned, coordinated, and tracked all unit training.

Performed duties as Director of Logistics, US Army Warrant Officer Career College. Served as a Training, Advising, and Counseling (TAC) Officer, Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS), the Army’s only Warrant Officer producing school. Responsible for training, mentoring, and coaching Warrant Officer Candidates, from 44 specialties, in warrior tasks, leadership skills, and officership.

Joe Rosen, Retired Army – Member

Joe Rosen served in the United States Army from 2009-2019. He was an Arabic Linguist, working both at the National Security Agency for the first half of his career and as an Intelligence Platoon Sergeant for the second half of his career. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2016-17 as a Staff Sergeant, earning the Bronze Star.

Joe currently lives and works in Port St Lucie, Florida as a real estate team leader for The Rosen Group. He has a YouTube podcast, The Joe Rosen Show, and leads several Facebook business and accountability groups, including the 7:11 Accountability Group and The Treasure Coast Alliance. Joe founded one of the Treasure Coast’s biggest networking groups, THEE Port St Lucie Networking Group, and has a genuine desire to help others in his community, specifically veterans, business owners, and those in need. Joe is married with two daughters.

Rita Evans, Retired Navy – Member

NCC Rita Evans. Served in the US Navy from March 1995 to Dec 2019.
Chief Rita M. Evans reported to Recruit Training Command (RTC), Great Lakes, IL in March 1995 where she was meritoriously promoted to E-2 and began her career as an Airman.
Her first assignment was with AIMD 700 Division, NAS Lemoore, CA, where she worked as an Aviation Ordnanceman for two years. She then transferred to VFA-22 (F/A-18s), NAS Lemoore, CA. She became a Plane Captain in 1997, then as a designated striker, became an Aviation Storekeeper (AK) in 1998. She deployed with her squadron onboard the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), was promoted to Third Class Petty Officer while underway, completed a deployment to the Persian Gulf (WESTPAC) and separated from the US Navy in July 1999.
After being separated for three years, she enlisted in the US Navy Reserves in Sept 2002 as an AK3, assigned to SMAT 105 Navy Reserve Center Orlando, FL. She was recalled to active duty in May 2003 as a Navy Reserve Recruiter with Naval Reserve Recruiting Command Area Southeast until Oct 2004. With Navy Recruiting District Jacksonville, she served as an enlisted active duty recruiter at Navy Recruiting Station Melbourne, a Recruiter-In-Charge at NRS East Orlando where she earned Meritorious Advancement to First Class Petty Officer, then converted to Career Recruiting Force (CRF), becoming a Navy Counselor First Class Petty Officer in Aug 2008. She was Zone Six Supervisor, earning her Zone Supervisor qualification in Feb 2009 and served as Command Trainer until June 2009.
She graduated from the CRF Academy and began her DIvisional Leading Petty Officer tour at NRD Atlanta. She was selected to Chief Petty Officer in 2010 and completed her 43-month Divisional Leading Chief Petty Officer (DLCPO) tour in April 2013. As Staff Duty, she was assigned to NRC-IG. She was an Interviewer and the Assistant Director of the Recruit Quality Assurance Team onboard RTC Great Lakes, IL until March 2016. She then reported to NRD Jacksonville where she first served as the General Officer Recruiting DLCPO and then became the first Recruiting Tactics Instructor.
Chief Evans is a graduate of the US Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, she earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Strayer University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix. She has been awarded a Navy Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal (seven awards) and various other awards. She received the CMC Leadership award in fall 2011 at NRD Atlanta.
Chief Rita Evans retired on Dec 31, 2019.
In June 2020, she started her own business as a Kona Ice franchise owner.
Rita and her husband have seven children and three grandchildren.
