Tracey Callahan, Administrative Director

SMSGT,(Ret) Air Force

SMSgt Tracey E Callahan was born in Hartford Connecticut and served in the US Air Force for 23 years from Dec 1984 – Feb 1, 2008.  She served in a variety of positions in the Intelligence career field throughout the world.  She amassed over 3000 hours flying 340 combat support and operational sorties on-board the RC-135 RIVET JOINT platform. She deployed over 500 days to RC-135 units in Saudi Arabia in support of Operations Desert Shield/Storm, Southern Watch and Iraqi Freedom. On her last deployment to Saudi Arabia, she was responsible for executing 242 combat/combat support missions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). She managed 121 personnel, to include a plus up of 4 additional aircraft and 75 aircrew personnel, effectively integrating into OIF operations. SMSgt Callahan enabled rapid combat readiness and optimal crew manning.  Her career focused on helping all service members to be true to themselves and to grow within the military environment.

One of the most important parts of her travels was bringing the feeling of family to every table. The military environment was ripe for learning the regional food traditions of her Air Force brothers and sisters.  For holidays and special celebrations, Tracey created meals from around the world to make sure everyone had a dish that tasted like home. “We were all away from our families so I created family traditions at our duty stations and deployed locations.”

Today, Tracey is the Owner and Executive Chef of The Traveled Chef LLC.  She marries her love of cooking with her travels to England, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Scotland and Wales during her Air Force career.

Being a personal chef allows her to bring families and friends together while dining on healthy global cuisine.  She provides personalized culinary experiences to you in your home for special occasions and gatherings.

John Mennella, Director of Operations

John has taken the knowledge and experience learned through his military experience and career in law enforcement and implemented his unique skills, putting him in a league of his own. He is mentally agile, an expert negotiator, and he operates on ethics, honesty, and morality. His unmatched work ethic and innate ability to reason with people and read between the lines formed during his five years in the US Navy, and twenty-five years as a detective with the Hudson County New Jersey prosecutor’s office.

In addition to his successful endeavors, John is a Published Author and has a successful real estate business.

Cheryl Gillen, Treasurer

Originally from Southern Ohio, Cheryl moved to South Florida in 1985, at which point she completed her Registered Nurse degree at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, receiving her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Florida International University.

Cheryl moved to the beautiful Treasure Coast in 1998. She is married with twins, a son and a daughter. Her son is currently serving in the US Marine Corp and is due to complete his service this December.

Along with working as a Registered Nurse, and a Realtor® with Keller Williams Treasure Coast, Cheryl has a heart for our military and helping other members in her community. She enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering for Christ Fellowship Church and DDS4VETS.
